Stretching to Fit Your Lifestyle

Stretches that plug into your daily routine.

Our Stretches

At home, at the office, around your neighborhood, and on the go. We all have empty moments in our day that we can incorporate simple, safe and effective stretches that improve your physical health and emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s the 10 minutes after hitting snooze on your alarm clock, 5 minutes waiting for your coffee to brew, the 2 minutes before your Zoom call starts, or even while sitting in your car at a stoplight – it’s never too late to start!

The Stretch Deck

Our Classic Stretch Deck has 52 stretches, arranged in 5 stretching groups from head to toe.

Our Story

Working for close to two decades as a manual therapist with a diverse client base, I have seen the effects of modern life styles and the trials and tribulations of everyday living negatively impact my clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing.

I realized that a majority of my clients’ ailments were aggravated and often caused by muscle tightness, lack of flexibility, reduced range of motion, and the big one … stress!

And that frequent simple stretches can easily improve and often prevent these conditions from occurring or getting worse.

Why The Stretching Habit?

Simple. Safe. Effective.

The Stretching Habit was designed by listening to my clients and I realized something.  The best way to get them to stretch on a daily basis was to design a way for them to “stack” stretching in with other routines they already had. My team and I developed a series of short, effective, stretches that you can do while sipping your coffee, waiting for your toast to pop, or even while sitting on your toilet! These more simple and easy positions are highly effective and can be done by anyone.

Easy to Add to Any Routine

Our stretches are designed to fit into your lifestyle. You can stretch in bed for 10 mins after hitting snooze on your alarm, in your bathroom while you’re waiting for your shower to heat up, at your kitchen counter while waiting for your coffee to brew. You get the idea: These are the empty moments in your day, we can all fit in a few stretches.

Designed for All Ages

We’ve built a system that is easy to incorporate no matter your age, athletic ability, or perceived flexibility. You don’t need a yoga mat and you don’t even have to get down on the floor (unless you want to). These stretches have helped hundreds of people’s bodies feel better and I know that these stretches will help you feel better too!

What Our Customers are Saying;

I thought my career was over because my back was in so much pain that I wasn’t able to get my body in a lot of positions that I needed to as a professional photographer.

I had been to many physical therapists and any time they had me stretching on the floor, by the time I got back up I would be in more pain. Claire was the one person who told me the real problem was my tight psoas and the way I could gently and effectively stretch it while standing at the edge of my bed.

It’s amazing that such a simple stretch could change my life so dramatically! Now I can do the entire standing Edge of the Bed series and since all of my hip and low back muscles are loose and healthy, I am completely pain free. My wife and I can travel again and I couldn’t be happier with Claire and her stretches!

Ken's Story

I’m an extremely busy medical sales rep which involves being in my car for substantial periods of time. I suffered from a severe lower back injury which is how I came to be referred to Claire who came highly recommended. Nobody knows the body better than her.

She showed me specific stretches that helped me get better and we adjusted them as my healing progressed. I’m now back to normal like the injury never happened. The stretching sequences in these videos not only helped me recover from my injury, they have maintained my back health.

The bedroom stretches, especially the “edge of the bed” sequence, have become part of my morning routine and I also do some of them at night.

Daria's Story

As a therapist, I sit at work all day and even though I do Yoga, I had a nagging neck and shoulder pain which often led to migraines.

After meeting and working with Claire she showed me specific stretches to address the muscles that were actually causing my pain and now that I don’t get migraines anymore, I do those stretches regularly.

Claire told me about the Stretching Around the Office video series and I love it because I can follow the stretches on my laptop right at my desk throughout the day.

The videos are super convenient because she talks me through the stretches just like she would do with me in person, and I love it!
